It all began in 2002, on a wine estate in the heart of the Charente-Maritime region. Visitors flocked, curious to discover the secrets of the winegrower's trade. Fascinated by the world of wine and cognac, they ask a thousand and one questions: what is cognac made from? how does distillation work? what is blending? revealing an inexhaustible thirst for knowledge. Thus was born the project for a wine theme park. With our children Arthur and Antoine, it would take us two whole years to conceptualize, concretize and build the wine theme park called ”The playful vine“. With the help of a scriptwriter and the input of top show business professionals, Le Cep Enchanté was born!
On July 19, 2004, the park finally opened its doors. From the outset, the park's immersive, playful approach has won it over. Visitors don't just observe: they experience a real adventure at the heart of the wine world, guided by familiar voices - our own - who take you through the various stages of discovery of the Cognac vineyards and their production processes.
