A look back at our harvest workshops
Young and old alike joined in the fun for a day of outdoor bonding. A key period in the vine cycle, the grape harvest began in early October.
Juliette, Jean-François and the whole team welcomed groups of very different ages and backgrounds (from kindergarten to high school) to the CEP Enchanté for a day full of discoveries. These moments of exchange and fun are very important to us!
Here are the activities proposed during this educational day?
Harvesting
During the morning, we offer a harvesting activity, explaining the safety instructions. You will then learn about the harvesting process. With buckets and pruning shears, the young grape-pickers tackle a row of vines, then press their grapes the old-fashioned way. The resulting juice is full of sweet flavors.
Fun trail through the vineyards
Explore the labyrinth in the vineyards and discover the mysteries of the work of Charentais winegrowers. A journey punctuated by scenographies in which a father tells his sons about his profession and his passion. The mission will be to answer a quiz that we've adapted for each age group.
Treasure hunt
Armed with your map, you'll need to find various clues and answer the questions posed to you in order to progress on the quest that will lead you to the treasure.
This treasure hunt is suitable for children as well as adults, turning into a real orienteering race. With the help of your compass, you'll have to find your way around the vineyards and count your steps to find the clues we've hidden and solve the riddles about cognac to put you on the path to the hidden treasure!
At the end of the tour, the youngest visitors will be awarded their “petit vigneron” diplomas.
Reserve your day for Harvest 2025!
